Cycle in the grassland, visit Chinggis Khan statue
You will be greeted by guide and driver at your hotel lobby and over an hour car transfer will bring you to the edge of the capital. We start the day by cycling across vast open grassland alternated by gentle hills. Owing to the dry air, the color of the sky is blue and clear, which allows one to see until the horizon. Mongolia is a place where you can enjoy boundless expanses of open prairie and the feeling of freedom. You will see mushroom-like tents of nomadic Mongolians and their large herds of horses, goats, and sheep, a scene unchanged for hundreds of years. We ride on distinct car tracks with packed surfaces. At the end of the ride, visit the giant statue of Genghis Khan on horseback. The founder of the Mongol Empire is depicted resting his hand on a golden whip he found here as legend suggests, and interpreted as heaven's approval of his mandate to rule the people of the steppe. Enjoy panoramic views of the vast steppe and rolling hills from an observation deck. Tonight, you will be accommodated in comfortable holiday camp comprised of traditional felt-covered tents known as a ger.
